West Brom Building Society has cut interest rates across its two-year fixed purchase mortgage range, with cuts of up to 0.18%.
The latest changes apply to all products purchased for two years.
At 95% LTV, West Brom have reduced their no-fee two-year fixed buy-in product to 5.15%, down from 5.25%.
At 90% LTV, the two-year fixed no-fee purchase mortgage has been reduced to 4.77%, from 4.95% – a reduction of 0.18%. For customers who borrow larger amounts and prefer the option of paying a fee, the lender’s two-year fixed mortgage at 90% LTV with a £999 fee has been reduced to 4.64%, down from 4.73%.
Comment on price changes West Bromwich John Phillips, senior product manager, said: “We’ve been making improvements across our entire purchasing range for two years, with particularly strong options available for customers purchasing with smaller deposits.
“First-time buyers continue to be an important area of focus for us, and these changes provide brokers with more competitive 90% and 95% LTV solutions. By offering a mix of fee and no-fee options, we give brokers greater flexibility to recommend products that best suit their clients’ needs.”
